Who we are Link to heading
GajaTech Ltd., trading as GajaTech, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website’s enquiry form.
For privacy questions or requests, email ra-el@gajatech.org.
What we collect and why Link to heading
When you send an enquiry, we collect your email address and the message you provide. We use these to reply and discuss your question or potential work. Your message may contain other information you choose to share; please leave out sensitive personal information.
You do not have to send an enquiry. We need an email address and a message to respond through this form.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to enquiries about our services and protecting the form from abuse. We do not sell your personal information or add you to a mailing list.
Who handles your information Link to heading
We use Formspark, operated by Trampoline Software SRL in Belgium, to receive and store submissions and send email notifications. Ra-el Peters handles enquiries personally. We use a personal Google account for our mailbox; Google processes email notifications and correspondence through that service, under its consumer privacy policy.
Formspark processes technical information including your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser information and the referring page for spam prevention, security and service features.
Formspark stores enquiry data in Ireland and Germany. Some of its suppliers process information elsewhere, including the United States. Google describes its overseas processing and transfer arrangements in its data transfer documentation. Formspark uses OOPSpam in the United States to check submission content, email addresses and IP addresses for spam. Formspark states that OOPSpam scores and discards this information rather than storing it. Details of Formspark’s suppliers are available in its subprocessor list.
How long we keep it Link to heading
We delete the original form submission and redundant notification copies after replying, checking monthly for anything left behind.
Formspark keeps deleted submissions recoverable for a further 30 days. It retains submitter IP addresses and approximate location information for 12 months. Submissions held by its spam filter, including their content and related technical information, are retained for 12 months, although available to us for only 30 days.
If we continue the conversation, we keep relevant correspondence while it is active and for up to 12 months after the last exchange. If you become a client, we explain the retention of engagement records separately. Records required for legal obligations or claims may need a different period.
Your rights Link to heading
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, delete it or restrict its use. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above to exercise your rights.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: make a complaint.
We do not use enquiry information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Automatic spam filtering may prevent a message reaching our inbox; if you cannot reach us through the form, you can contact Ra-el on LinkedIn.
Website hosting and analytics Link to heading
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. Its privacy statement explains its handling of this information.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and how people use the enquiry form. We measure page views and fixed events such as seeing the form, starting it, attempting submission and returning to a result page. We do not send form contents, email addresses or submission IDs to Google Analytics.
Our lawful basis for analytics is consent. Google Analytics loads only after you accept. You can reject analytics or withdraw consent using Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not automatically erase information already collected. Visitors who decline can still use the website and form.
We store your analytics choice in browser local storage for six months. Analytics uses _ga cookies, configured to expire after six months; Google may renew them during use. Withdrawing consent removes accessible analytics cookies. Google processes analytics data under its privacy policy and transfer arrangements. The GA4 property’s server-side data-retention settings are managed separately. The site’s theme code can read a colour preference previously saved in your browser’s local storage. This preference is used for presentation, not to identify you or measure visits.
